A walk in the dark -- 'One time penny man'
A veil, dark ribbons, of water, fall
on pale poured milk, my silk moon shawl,
which wraps round frail wood, green stains all,
makes tail roots dirt down deep and crawl
in self-sought trails, till my soul sprouts tall.
‘If you live as if someone else is always watching you, you’ll be lonely, lonely, lonely… ’
“Your legs are no longer but you walk just the same Your charm is a pleasure yet an ever changing cage It’s like I walked into a dagger, took a step back You turned around and didn’t look back Hey”
“‘Cause it’s the magic hand that holds you gently And turns one into many And there inside, it’s bloody to reach boldly For truth spoken from mouth in his name”
